90 Days to JEE Mains. April.

April 1st
Happy April Fools Day!
Day 86 of 90.

The day of the fools and as I have taken it to mean- a day we all can act foolish and get away with it.

A fool’s paradise, is a paradise nevertheless.

To celebrate foolishness, excerpt from conversation between Foolish Happy Me (FHM) and Unhappy Realistic Me (URM).

HFM: Dude, so much I have to tell you today, I made myself a USB powered keyboard lamp!
URM: Yes, I know all about it. You wasted 2 hours on it.
HFM: Wasted? Creativity, is unleashing the potential of the human mind!
URM: Are you going to sell it?
HFM: No.
URM: Then, it’s not worth anything.
HFM: The worth of things has nothing to do with the price at which you can sell them! -_-
URM: I would’ve disagreed, but I don’t argue with fools. Is there any utility of what you’ve built?
HFM: Yes, because you are the realist, you should remember that you are not rich enough to buy a laptop with a backlit keyboard-
URM: This laptop was gifted to me.
HFM: Yeah, whatever, dare you interrupt again. So because this laptop does not have a backlit keyboard, I can use the lamp while blogging at night. which I often do.
URM: Lie. You won’t use it more than a week because you are afraid that the LED will burn out.
HFM: Its a peice of art. You won’t understand, you are too busy solving numericals whose answers are already known than wandering into the unknown and actually using your mind.
URM: Numericals, you say? Dare you talk about numericals. You are the sole reason of our penury in the eighth AITS. The time you should utilize in studying, you keep blogging or worse: thinking about what to blog. Grow up, this is not the time to indulge in hobbies that waste time!
HFM: This is life Mr.Thinker, if you haven’t noticed. Maybe you should start living too, there will be no better time to do anything, than now!
URM: Yeah? What about do some numericals than write this blog to entertain others?
HFM: Tomorrow, for sure. I swear.
URM: Tomorrow? Oh yeah? Why not day after tomorrow? or the year after? Tomorrow- what a brilliant excuse.
HFM: Hey, hey, hey! Stop being the irritated pessimist, I did study today: Lots of numericals, right from electricity and kinematics.
URM: 2 chapters, end of list. You are disgusting.
HFM: Now, let me throw you a deal: Tomorrow, I will solve numericals like crazy, go down and dirty and earn a medal.
URM: Emotions are guiding you- ‘down and dirty’, they won’t last. Make a promise others can see, if you dare.
HFM: Challenge accepted. To everyone reading this: Tomorrow I am going to finsih of the 4th book of DCP- Electricity and Magnetism. So much so that I won’t even blog about it until day after.
There.
URM: Lets see.
HFM: But first, I gotta check my coin collection… 😀

4 Days to Go…

April 2nd
Gravitation, Magnetism, Electricity. But no blogging.
Day 87 of 90.

I will continue the conversation between URM and HFM.

URM: Uh, so there you are, where had you been hiding your face all these days?
HFM: Was studying.
URM: And did you complete the Electromagnetism book.
HFM: Almost.
URM: I’ll take that for a no.
HFM: I studied gravitation instead.
URM: Negligible gravitation while omitting considerable portions of electromagnetism, you mean?
HFM: Uh, maybe.
URM: And yet you have the audacity to show up and blog about your failure?
HFM: It was a difficult target, I am glad I tried. To fail gloriously is better than not trying it all. I didn’t even blog.
URM: Blogging hardly takes any time, if you mean it as a proof of your seriousness, I stand unconvinced. But I will accept that fact, the target was not very realistic. Anything new, or fun?
HFM: Since when did you start caring for fun?
URM: I do care about how much time you waste on fun though.
HFM: Nah, nothing much. Nothing much, especially then. 😉

3 Days to Go…

April 3rd
More mechanics. A little semiconductors.
Day 88 of 90.

~couldn’t blog~

2 Days to Go…

April 4th
Electromagnetism. Ubuntu installation.
Day 89 of 90.

1 Days to Go…

April 5th
It is time.
Day 90 of 90.

The 90 Days. Time and again I have complained hat these few days went by in the blink of an eye, whizzing past at a speed too fast for me to reason and often I have whispered the universal prayer-  I wish I had a little more time.
But today, with 90 days gone by, I can say with conviction, it was a long, long expanse of time and today, I wish for no more. It was… long enough.
Long enough that I do not even remember the first post that I wrote, and 6th January seems a distant memory.
Long enough for me to solve 15+ papers, long enough to smile and say, “I haven’t wasted it all!”
Long enough to change seasons. From room heaters to air conditioners.
From DC Pandey to JEE Mains in 40 Days to the occasional NCERT.
Long enough to cover boards, and at least 3 AITSs with it.
Long enough for me to say- “Yaar, jitna inn 90 dino me padhe hain, shayad pichle 2 saal me bhi na padhe hoin!”
Long enough for anyone to do anything!

Long enough to prepare for that one encounter, which, is very important: to many of my friends, and even though a little less, to me.
Come tomorrow and we will see.

I won’t write much, ending with the sentence I begin all my adventures with:

Let the fireworks begin. It is time.

All The Best!
